Seoul couples celebrate Kiss Day at a River Park event at Walkerhill Hotel. An unofficial romantic holiday celebrated only in Korea, Kiss Day falls on June 14 every year.
Although Korean vendors have had less success commercializing this particular anniversary in previous years, a few Seoul-based companies and venues have been getting creative.
Cosmetic brand Missha is offering a buy-one-get-one-free lipstick promotion all day, while the recently re-opened River Park at Walkerhill Hotel held a kissing event in its outdoor pool.
In a Kiss Day survey conducted by Bugs Music, an online music website, 18-year-old idol singer IU was voted the female artiste with the most kissable lips.
