Dees re-sign five

Boom Melbourne midfielder Jack Trengove was one of five youngsters to sign new contracts at the Demons, but Tom Scully was not one of the others.
Trengove, who is touted as a future captain, has underlined his commitment to the club by signing a contract extension until the end of the 2015 season.
Taken with the second pick in the 2009 AFL Draft, Trengove has already established himself as one of the game's best young midfielders and his signature is a great result for the Demons considering the recent turmoil that has engulfed the club.
Promising defender Luke Tapscott has signed on until 2014, while ruckman Max Gawn has inked a deal that will take him through to 2013.
Michael Evans and Daniel Nicholson are locked in for next season as second-year rookie-listed players.
But a notable absentee was Scully, who looks destined to join new team GWS next season. The Scully saga is almost mirroring the one surrounding Gary Ablett at Geelong last year, which isn't good news for the Demons.
