Virtual sex and controllable dreams in hotels of the future

He's only imagining it all.
Recent reports of grope-free airport security checks are nothing compared to an even more recent report that forecasts inter-hotel sex and contact lenses that you can use to change the appearance of your lover.
Hotel rooms of the future will allow guests to have virtual sex, manage the contents of their dreams, and check emails with contact lenses, claims a study jointly conducted by Travelodge and a futurologist.
The “Travelodge Future of Sleep” report, conducted by self-proclaimed futurologist Ian Pearson, made predictions about how technology will impact our sleep in 2030.
“Within the next two decades, the hotel room will be so technologically advanced that it will almost be alive,” the report states.
Perhaps the most arresting of these technological advancements is “remote virtual love making.”
Couples separated by physical distances get to reconnect by linking "peripheral nervous systems via active skin electronics for enhanced love making."
That means couples get to experience their partner’s emotions while they are doing the deed. That's a leap ahead of the technology currently available, developed in Japan, that allows people to French kiss (kind of) each other using a motorized straw.

Transforming our world

Guests wearing hi-tech contact lenses also get to adjust how their partner looks when they’re having sex, allowing people to change partners in virtual reality without their lover ever finding out.
Pearson also suggests that the special contact lenses will allow sleepers to watch TV and check emails before they fall asleep.
The lenses are supposed to be worn under the eyelids and deliver 3D images directly onto the retina.
“By 2030 we will be able to manage the contents of our dreams as in the movie ‘Inception,’” the report also claims. “We will be able to replay our favorite dream from a menu just like choosing a movie.”
Other predictions include sleepwear that has electronic massagers, sleep-cycle alarms that make sure people complete their sleep cycle before waking up, and technology that monitors sleep patterns to diagnose medical conditions.
The full list of remarkable predictions includes:
  • Interactive video panels cover full wall space
  • Home from home upload: 3D room re-skin
